It has never been a secret that Marcel is your biggest fan, but lately it has become more and more apparent just how much you adore him as well. Every time Marcel does something new or exciting you are the first to draw attention to him exclaiming with great pride, "MOM! He's dancing/waving/clapping!! Good job Marcelly!" You love making him laugh, and never grow tired of keeping him entertained while we are in the car, at the store, or while he is squirming in the midst of a diaper change. I am so grateful for your helpful attitude and willingness to assist me when I am in need. You aren't the most affectionate little girl, as far as hugging and doting on others, but you are smitten with your little brother and are very protective of him in your own ways. I have started to find you leaning into him, draping your arm around his little shoulder, and loving on him in new ways. In those tender moments, even if only briefly before gently pushing him away again, I am hit with the realization that I am blessed far more than I could ever deserve. I am your mother. You are my babies. My biggest blessings and greatest gifts.

Sibling Bonding
The two of you have always loved each other, and have always found the other to be hilarious bringing out the deepest of belly laughs with the simplest acts of silliness, but over the past couple of weeks there has been something sprouting from the roots that bind you two. It is a joy I am not sure I can put into words.
Marcel wants to be near you all the time, always stealing kisses and tackling you with his arms wrapped tightly around your neck as you shriek in both happiness and irritation, "Ah! He dripped on me! I'm soaked." He wants everything you have whether it be your toys or snacks (which you are always willing to share), and gets extremely vocal if you take something that he is playing with and will not stop until it is back in his grasp. Your bed is his favorite place to be, and he wishes so badly to have your beloved teddy bear as his own. He has started to play tricks on you and it might be one of the best parts of our day watching him snag your nuk and bunny and bolt across the floor as fast as he can crawl, looking over his shoulder, and simultaneously holding his breath our of anticipation and giggling in pure joy that you are chasing him. It is wonderful and I love it!

Zaylee Says....
While eating dinner last night you looked at me with the sweetest look on your face and said, "Mom, thank you so much for making this dinner. It's really good! I like it, Mom."
and again this morning...
"Thank you mom for making my breakfast. Wow, how did you make this all? It's good." (frozen waffles and banana :) )
"Mom, your a sweet girl. I love you so much." While cupping my face in your sweet little hands.
In response to me asking if you are ready for bed, "Um, not actually because I'm working. Want help me Mom?"
"Um, 10 67 I sink (think)!?" Your answer when I asked you how much I loved you.
When asked what time it is you look at your wrist and say, "I sink it's thirsty (thirty) seven."
"Mom you look so beautiful today." As you stroke my hair with your freshly painted fingers.
"Member we did that lasterday (any past event or yesterday)? Member mom?"
"Marcelly wanna play with me?"
(Pictures are random fall pictures from my phone!)
