Oh my! How is Zaylee ready for this!? For the past two weeks, she has been showing great signs of wanting food. As we eat our dinner, she sits in her Bumbo reaching, leaning, chewing her tongue, and altogether coveting the food we are so freely shoveling into our mouths. We decided today on her 5 month birthday we would give it a go! I got out the little glass bowl given to me by Mamie Jeannie--the bowl that Paul first ate out of when he was a baby boy--so we are ready!!
Things I'm excited about:
- Watching her reaction each time we introduce a new food
- Playing airplane with the spoon
- Eating at the table as a family of three
- Seeing Paul so happy because he can finally feed his baby girl!!
Things I'm not excited about:
- Stinky diapers
- Possibility of more spit-up, as we don't deal with too much of it normally
- Her liking food more than my milk (hopefully not the case!)
- The mess that comes with feeding babies. Not a fan!
Today will be a fun day! Happy 5 months Sweet Girl!!
